- Organic Certification Cost Share Reimbursement Program- State Portion (OCCSP)
- OCCSP provides cost share assistance to producers and handlers of agricultural products who are obtaining or renewing their certification under the National Organic Program (NOP). Certified operations may receive up to 75 percent of their certification costs paid during the program year, not to exceed $750 per certification scope. To apply through FSA, you can find an FSA county office near you with the Service Center Locator. The FSA OCCSP application form is available at USDA's eForms site, by selecting "Browse forms" and entering "OCCSP" in the "title or keywords" field on the search page. Once, certified operations have received reimbursement through their county office of FSA, they may then contact the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry to apply for a state match portion (may receive up to 75 percent of their certification costs paid during the program year, not to exceed $750) minus any funds received from FSA. The state match must not exceed their certification expenses paid during the program year. Certified operations may contact Jeremy Hendrix at 337-948-0230 or by email at jhendrix@ldaf.state.la.us.

- Grocery Stores
- Unfortunately, we were not able to secure a grocery store interview for the video. Though we called several and they all expressed extreme interest in the training, they were ultimately overwhelmed with work as they address gaps in the supply chain during the COVID-19 quarantine. We will be emailing several stores with a short survey to include their feedback in the publication that will be created for this training.
